Stages of Health

Every woman must see her nurse-midwife every year for the preventive care
of her general health. At the Wareham Nurse Midwives, we stress the
importance of every aspect of a woman's changing cycles. From the beginning
visits on understanding your body's special needs and concerns to your latter
visits to maintain optimum health conditions. We offer the personal care to
help you keep up with the ever-present changes and problems you may face.

We guide you with the proper knowledge and experience in all your
facets of health care.

The Young Woman needs the correct advise on matters of birth control, pap
smears and protection from venereal diseases. She is advised on good
health practices to keep for her lifetime.

The Pregnant Woman needs to maintain well, quality health before her
childbirth. She must be monitored regularly and is prepared for labor with all
her questions and concerns answered. Proper diet, personal hygiene, exercise,
adequate sleep and travel concerns are addressed during this special time. The
entire pregnancy should be a happy and pleasant one for the mother and child.
We strive to achieve this for all our patients.

The Menopausal Woman needs to be educated on her new symptoms and
changes her body is going through. All of her health issues are discussed and
measures are taken care of to prevent any serious future problems.

All of a Woman's stages of life are important and crucial. We make sure that
every woman's life cycle changes are important and unique to her alone. The
nurse-midwife cares about you and everything you go through. You can talk to
her about personal and private issues that concern your health and well being.
She is always there to listen to you and no concern of yours is trivial or
embarrassing. You will be pleased with the best physician visit you ever had.
